Baum und Pferdgarten is a Copenhagen-based fashion house founded in 1999 by Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave. The brand name is an interplay between the surnames of the founding Creative Directors — “Baum” from Baumgarten and “Pferdgarten” (horse garden) from Hestehave (heste = horses, have = garden). The pair first met while studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and launched their partnership shortly after graduation.

Throughout their long-standing partnership, Rikke and Helle have continuously complemented and pushed each other, resulting in covetable pieces in beautiful fabrics, memorable prints, and bold colours. “We want to create designs for women who want to have fun with their personal expression,” they say. “Our collections can be worn in many different ways by many different women. We create clothes that help women tell their own story.”

The brand is celebrated for its distinctive fusion of playful expression and refined design. Known for bold colours, striking prints, and tailored silhouettes, Baum und Pferdgarten creates timeless collections that empower individuals to dress with creativity and confidence.
