Colección Primavera-Verano 2025 para hombre de Louis Vuitton por Pharrell Williams

The World is Yours

En Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2025 Men’s Collection, curated by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, presents a vision celebrating humanity and the interconnectedness of our global community. The collection, titled “The World is Yours,” captures the essence of unity and diversity. It emphasizes the shared human experience, showcasing the diverse species made of the same flesh and blood under the illuminating sun.

From Paris to the World

Set against the iconic backdrop of La Maison de l’UNESCO in Paris, the show unfolds with a panoramic view of the city, accompanied by Pharrell’s composition “Triumphus Cosmos.” The location, constructed in 1958 to unite humanity through culture, symbolizes the global mentality of Louis Vuitton. The LVERS community, comprising individuals from various backgrounds, collaborates towards a shared vision of warmth, wellbeing, and welcome-ness, reflecting the Maison’s core values: discernment, craftsmanship, and travel as an eternal source of vitality and connection to our shared humanity.

Leaders of Tomorrow

En Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2025 Men’s Show opens with a cinematic prelude directed by the creative collective Air Afrique, who also collaborated on graphics and patterns for the collection featured in the film. Captured in La Maison de l’UNESCO, where the show takes place, the prelude imagines the diplomats that inhabit its hallways as children – the next generation – attending a lecture by the Swiss curator and art critic Simon Njami, who specializes in African contemporary art and photography. Centered on themes of unity in human diversity and the world of tomorrow, the film is an expression of the inter-generational message at the heart of Air Afrique, an African-French cultural platform dedicated to the expansion of Afro-diasporic arts, conversations, and knowledge. “You are the future. The world is your oyster. It’s up to you to reinvent it. It’s up to you to reimagine it.”

Global Dandies

The collection’s silhouettes are inspired by archetypal travelers, with elements of aviation dress, double-breasted coats, and refined tracksuits. Each garment is meticulously crafted with intricate craftsmanship, reflecting sophisticated techniques in fabric weaving, embroidery, and detailed finishes. The collection includes technical sportswear, luxurious formalwear, and comfort-driven leisure wear, all unified by the global traveler theme.

Look Closer

The palette and textures of the collection draw inspiration from a solar perspective on humanity. Silhouettes appear muted and monotone from a distance, but on closer inspection, they reveal intricate details and sophisticated construction. The collection uses skin tones to symbolize human diversity, with materials that mimic the texture of skin, animal hides, and translucent cloths. Patterns and Monogram designs are infused with skin-like qualities, creating a sensory and tactile experience.

Branded

The collection reimagines Louis Vuitton’s iconic emblems through a travel-centric lens. The embossed Branded Monogram appears on tonal garments, while the Damoflage motif, a blend of Damier and camouflage, is adapted into a Snake-o-Flage pattern. The collection also introduces the Map-o-Flage motif, blending the world map with the classic Damier pattern. These designs are realized in ready-to-wear items, accessories, and textiles, enhancing the sensory and textural impact.

Air Afrique

Air Afrique’s collaboration with Louis Vuitton extends beyond the cinematic prelude, contributing logos and patterns to the collection. Founded in 2020, the collective continues the legacy of the defunct Pan-African airline, highlighting Afro-diasporic arts and conversations. Their influence is seen in tartan patterns and travel-inspired logos, adding a cultural and artistic dimension to the collection.

Toppings

The collection’s attention to detail invites viewers to appreciate the craftsmanship up close. Garments and bags feature bijou buttons, pearl-encrusted piping, and elaborate embroidery. Belt chains, charms, and key rings are adorned with intricate designs, including world maps, airplanes, and flowers. These details exemplify the Maison’s dedication to luxury and precision.

Soft Leather Goods

Debuting a new line of Soft Leather Goods, the collection reimagines classic Louis Vuitton bags in luxurious, supple leather. Icons like the Alma, Christopher, and Neverfull are crafted with aged VVN trimmings and embellished with an enlarged historic brown Monogram. The line includes archival shapes like the Danube, Nile, and Amazon, enhanced with multi-pocket adornments and rhinestone-covered designs.

Trunks and Bags

The collection also features a range of innovative bags and trunks. The Speedy P9 re-emerges in tonal black and faded fluorescent colors, while the LVERS Damier motif graces canvas and denim jacquard bags. The collaboration with Air Afrique introduces blueish green tartan bags with Damier chequers. Additionally, the collection debuts the Horizon Aluminum suitcase, designed by Marc Newson, exemplifying state-of-the-art engineering and functionality.

Footprints

Shoes in the collection are inspired by the archetypal travelers, featuring designs like the LV Agent boot, LV Diplomat, and LV Rider cowboy boot. The LV Footprint Runner and LV Footprint Soccer draw on motorcycle and football boot aesthetics, respectively. The LV Footprint Traveler combines comfort with style, while the Snow Boot adapts the Damoflage pattern.

Super Vision

Sunglasses in the collection reflect aviation codes, with designs like the LV Passport, LV Supermask, and LV Flight. The collection reintroduces the Millionaire 1.0 sunglasses and debuts the Millionaire 4.0, showcasing innovative materials and styles.

Gear and Gems

Accessories include aviator caps, berets, cowboy hats, and beanies, adorned with crystals, pearls, and Monogram elements. Foulards and ties feature world maps, Map-o-Flage, and LVERS Damier prints. Jewelry pieces like tennis necklaces, fantasy wedding rings, and explorer brooches emphasize the collection’s traveling dandy spirit.

Triumphus Cosmos and LVERS Fragrance

The soundtrack, featuring original pieces by Pharrell Williams, complements the collection’s themes of unity and diversity. The LVERS fragrance, created in collaboration with Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, embodies the essence of sunlight as a metaphor for love and life, capturing the spirit of the collection.

The Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2025 Men’s Collection by Pharrell Williams is a testament to the unifying power of fashion, celebrating the shared human experience through meticulously crafted designs and innovative collaborations.
