The Maison debuts in the Japanese market with a mono-brand space in the heart of the capital, in partnership with Best Anniversary Co., Ltd.
Antonio Riva Milán has chosen Japan as a strategic step in its international expansion, inaugurating its first mono-brand store outside of Italy. The Maison – a benchmark in Italian haute couture bridal fashion – opens an exclusive space in the heart of Tokyo, in collaboration with Best Anniversary Co., Ltd., a leading player in Japan’s wedding industry.
Located in the sophisticated Yaesu district, the 110-square-meter atelier evokes the atmosphere of the brand’s historic Italian spaces. Three fitting rooms welcome clients into an immersive environment designed to offer a personalized and high-end experience.
The offering includes pieces from the new Urban Dream collection, alongside a selection of iconic designs and exclusive creations made specifically for the new atelier.
For the most discerning clients, a “first rental” service will also be available, allowing brides to wear a completely new, never-before-rented gown – a unique service to make the wedding day even more special. In Japan, it is customary to rent a Western-style wedding dress for the ceremony.
The opening marks a key milestone in the brand’s global growth journey, which for over twenty years has brought Italian tailoring tradition to the world, combined with a distinctive aesthetic vision. The choice of Tokyo confirms the Maison’s strong connection with a culture that shares values such as formal elegance, attention to detail, and artisanal craftsmanship.
The flagship will officially open on September 1, 2025. The Maison will celebrate the opening with two exclusive moda shows for the press and selected clientele. For the occasion, the AR Café, a temporary experiential space, will also be inaugurated and remain open until September 16, offering the Japanese public a chance to engage with the brand’s creative universe.
