The design process explored innovative dyeing techniques and fabric manipulations, including hand-pleating while the fabrics were wet and applying heat to achieve organic effects inspired by Mariano Fortuny’s craftsmanship. Working exclusively with existing patterns, Rojas reshaped and draped silhouettes to push creative boundaries while minimizing waste. Familiar materials were reimagined into fresh, elegant forms.

Select pieces feature hand-sewn flowers that symbolize beauty emerging through change. Each design reflects an experimental journey that transforms existing fabrics into enchanting and refined garments.

Rojas draws inspiration from two iconic women whose influence reshaped modern femininity.

Tina Chow, often credited as the inventor of minimal chic, blended haute couture with flea-market finds and was admired for her intellectual approach to fashion. A collector of Mariano Fortuny’s designs, Chow embodied creative exploration and cultural fluidity.
