Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, Diesel presented its Fall/Winter 2026 collection during Milan Fashion Week, transforming the runway into an immersive testament to nearly five decades of unfiltered energy and cultural provocation. Titled “Diesel Memorabilia,” the show opened the brand’s vault to deliver a dynamic, tactile reanimation of its identity—from its founding in 1978 through its evolution into the present and beyond.

Diesel Fall/Winter 2026: Glenn Martens' Archive at Milan Fashion Week

The presentation unfolded within a surreal, densely layered installation comprising more than 50,000 archival objects, props, and memorabilia drawn from Diesel campaigns, events, offices, and runway history. Polar bears stood alongside aliens, Santa Claus figures, inflatables, plush toys, branded underwear, and even real pizza slices, creating a chaotic yet deliberate garden of earthly delights that mirrored the brand’s irreverent spirit.

At the heart of the collection lies the narrative of the morning after—an exhilarating, no-regrets state of glorious dishevelment. Glenn Martens captured this essence with purposeful imperfection: garments appear hastily gathered, lived-in, and gloriously askew. Permanent resin creases lend denim the appearance of multi-day wear, while jersey layers mimic rucked-up styling. Supersized knits distill into wrinkled essentials, and “monster” coats patch together vibrant hues and contrasting textures for bold, patchwork drama. Proportions skew deliberately off-kilter, with functional pockets positioned at pant hems to rest directly over footwear.

Accessories amplify the collection’s subversive edge. The debut D-One bag features convertible handles that transform into multi-buckled straps cascading down the body, available in leather, crystal-encrusted denim, and other high-impact materials. Footwear maintains architectural precision through sculptural details walled in on pumps and boots. Marking a new milestone, Diesel introduces the “Closer” watch—its first unisex timepiece—blending technical sophistication with jewelry-like refinement.

Sustainability remains integral, with responsible denim treatments and upcycled materials woven throughout, ensuring the collection honors Diesel’s heritage while advancing forward-thinking innovation.

At Milan Fashion Week, Diesel Fall/Winter 2026 celebrates “Successful Living” in its purest form: unapologetic, joyful, and defiantly imperfect. The collection invites wearers to embrace the chaos of the best nights and the triumphant mornings that follow.
