Khaite

Khaite is a New York-based luxury women’s wear brand founded in 2016 by Catherine Holstein. Holstein launched the brand after a career in fashion merchandising and styling, with co-founding investment from Adam Pritzker. The first boutique opened at 165 Mercer Street in Manhattan and has since expanded to Madison Avenue and a Dallas location.

Khaite’s ready-to-wear collections have been regularly shown during New York Fashion Week, establishing the brand as a staple of the schedule. Holstein’s work quickly attracted industry recognition, and the brand has been nominated for CFDA awards including the Emerging Designer award and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Khaite is known for its elevated, minimalist aesthetic — often compared to The Row in its approach to quiet luxury — with a focus on exceptional fabrics, precise tailoring, and a “living wardrobe” philosophy. The brand has collaborated with Oliver Peoples on eyewear and has been worn by Katie Holmes and Gemma Chan. Khaite is a CFDA member.
