Etro

Etro is the Milanese house founded in 1968 by Gimmo Etro, renowned for paisley prints and bohemian luxury. Family-owned for over half a century, Etro is now led creatively by Marco De Vincenzo — appointed creative director in 2022 – who has revitalized the brand’s women’s, men’s and accessories lines with a modern, eclectic sensibility while honoring the house’s textile heritage. The Etro family (Gimmo’s children Veronica, Ippolito, Kean and Jacopo) built the brand into a global lifestyle label spanning clothing, leather goods, home textiles and fragrances. The house has been a recurring presence on the CNMI womenswear calendar.

The SS27 collection, staged at the Piazza Lina Bo Bardi venue shared that week by other houses (including Ermanno Scervino), continues De Vincenzo’s exploration of Etro’s archives – paisley, tapestry florals, artisanal textures – in a younger, sharper key. The label remains one of Milan’s emblematic independent luxury names.
