Alberta Ferretti

Alberta Ferretti is the Italian maison founded in 1974 by designer Alberta Ferretti in Cattolica, known for ethereal, fluid dresses, diaphanous layers and refined evening wear. The designer founded the Aeffe group (1980) with her brother Massimo Ferretti — the fashion conglomerate that owns Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Moschino and Pollini, and produces collections for other houses. Ferretti’s romantic yet disciplined aesthetic — “soft tailoring,” goddess gowns, pleated chiffon — has made her a mainstay of Milan Fashion Week for five decades, dressing generations of actresses on the red carpet.

In recent seasons the maison has undergone a generational refresh while remaining under the founder’s creative eye. Aeffe’s 2025–2026 corporate developments (including the Oxy Capital offer for the group) have kept the company in industry headlines. The SS27 collection, with venue to be confirmed, reaffirms Ferretti’s place among the CNMI calendar’s historic Italian voices.
