Mailand präsentiert die Exzellenz von Qinghe Cashmere

After the success of its debut in Milan last fall, Qinghe Cashmere returned to the Lombard capital for the opening of Milan Fashion Week Women’s Collection. The association, which brings together the most important companies producing the precious fiber from the Chinese region located southeast of Hebei Province, recognized as the “Capital of Cashmere,” showcased six brands from the district at the Four Seasons Hotel on September 16th.

The presentation revealed the talents of E-San, Langkun, Xinhua, Hongtai, Huangtaiji, and Zhonghui, with a total of 18 looks that combined tradition and innovation, celebrating the craftsmanship and style of oriental manufacturing.

Barbara Mazzali, Councilor for Fashion, Tourism, Territorial Marketing, and Major Events for the Lombardy Region, attended the evening and stated: “Milan is ready to once again become the center of the Mode world, and I am happy to represent the Lombardy Region on such a special occasion, dedicated to the excellence of cashmere, a material that embodies luxury, refinement, and timeless elegance. Today, we also celebrate an important meeting: that between Lombardy and Qinghe, a Chinese region known for the extraordinary quality of its cashmere. The centuries-old tradition of Qinghe in processing this precious fiber marries with our artisanal expertise, creating a strong and deep bond based on quality and excellence.”

The event highlighted the most promising names from the region, which boasts a cutting-edge industrial chain at every stage, from the collection of raw cashmere, through carding, spinning, and finishing, to the production of high-end garments. Furthermore, it could strengthen strategic relations between Italy and China and initiate new alliances for the fashion sector, especially after the signing of the Silk Road agreement.
