The Forza Collective unveiled their much-anticipated Spring/Summer 2025 collection at Kopenhagener Modewoche, showcasing a captivating blend of futuristic design and historical inspiration. The show was held on August 5, 2024, from 15:00 to 15:30 CEST at the Royal Danish Playhouse, an iconic venue that perfectly complemented the collection’s innovative aesthetic.
Inspiration and Theme
The SS25 collection, designed by Kristoffer Kongshaug, is titled “Juxtapositions” and draws inspiration from a fusion of 60s and 70s couture with 90s minimalism. This creative blend aligns with Forza Collective’s vision of merging historical elegance with modern simplicity. The collection embodies a strong, energetic color palette that invites engagement and excitement. Danish actress Ellen Hillingsø and ballet dancer Cecilie Lassen were featured among the cast, epitomizing the strength and vitality synonymous with the Forza Collective woman.
Design and Materials
The collection’s standout pieces include heavy satin dresses, twill wool garments, stone-washed jerseys, and PVC creations. Handmade bra cups and corsets in silver, crafted in collaboration with Berlin-based jewelry duo Räthel & Wolf, add a unique and luxurious touch. Other notable designs include a heavy satin dress with an amplified skirt and organic mesh surface decorations, a color-blocked draped jersey dress in mint green and cream, and statement coats in vibrant satin colors.
Venue and Atmosphere
The Royal Danish Playhouse, designed by architect Lundgaard & Tranberg and completed in 2008, provided a stunning backdrop for the show. Located on one of Copenhagen’s most iconic waterfronts, the venue’s glazed foyer offered panoramic views, enhancing the overall experience. The audience was seated in the naturally lit foyer, creating an intimate and engaging atmosphere. The Swedish beauty brand Manasi 7 sponsored the show, with all looks created exclusively using their products.
