Kinetic Light Artist Brandon Amira Showcases New Infinity Opus Sculpture
MIAMI, FL — Miami-based kinetic light artist, metal sculptor, and inventor Brandon Amira is showcasing Infinity Opus, a monumental illuminated sculpture at Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA) as part of the organization’s “Sculpture Walk 2025–2026: Temporary Outdoor Exhibition,” showing to the public now through June 30th, 2026, at 5900 NW 74th Ave, Miami, FL 33166.
Installed within MIFA’s open-air landscape, Infinity Opus is a continuous looping metal art piece that evokes a sense of eternity, says Amira. “This newest art piece was made with precise geometry and embedded illumination lighting in unison, creating a refined spatial presence where structure and light are inseparable.”
Hand-fabricated from powder-coated metal with integrated LED illumination and diffusers, Amira’s latest artwork was conceived to exist in two distinct states: composed and architectural by day and luminous and atmospheric by night. “Illumination is not applied to the surface. It is fully integrated within the sculpture, emerging with clarity and control. This piece is about continuity—it’s a form without beginning or end, where light alters perception,” Amira stated.
Standing approximately 105 inches tall, Infinity Opus is part of Amira’s Parallel Series, an ongoing art collection that fuses structure, light, and invention into a singular, disciplined structure that celebrates independent thought, consciousness, and continuity. Each piece is engineered so that light and material are inseparable, creating a unified spatial presence.
Amira’s work operates at the intersection of modern art and sophisticated architectural design, defined by proportion and control. His sculptures are reduced to their essential elements, where light becomes the primary medium through which form is revealed. “My medium is light, and I use it to reveal structure and introduce movement within stillness,” Amira said.
With a background in construction and engineering, Amira brings more than two decades of experience in both the art world and the construction industry. He began designing and fabricating at the age of eight, shaping a practice rooted in invention, structure, and technology. “I’ve spent the majority of my life exploring how engineering, technology, and design can merge to create new possibilities,” Amira said.
Amira’s work has been exhibited at the Miami International Design Show, the International Kinetic Art Experience, Art & Stroll Fort Lauderdale, and in exhibitions with Aura Copeland Contemporary.
The exhibition, presented by Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA) and curated by Félix Suazo und Adriana Meneses Imber, has brought together a selection of local contemporary artists, including Sandra García-Pardo, Yusimy Lara, Luis La Rosa, Sydia Reyes, and Jorge Salas. Art lovers, creatives, residents, and visitors alike are encouraged to view Infinity Opus in person while it is currently on display to the public through June 30, 2026.
