VIP ROOM Opens New Space and Launches BRERISSIMA During Milan Fashion Week

During Milan Fashion Week, Monsieur Matteo Sorbellini introduced a new chapter for his creative project by inaugurating the Milan space of VIP ROOM inside ROBE ROBERTAEBASTA, the gallery store founded by Roberta Tagliavini in Via Solferino 3, in the heart of Brera.
Following the official opening on February 24, a special event was held on February 28. The gathering welcomed members of the press, VIP clients, and industry professionals, marking the brand’s entry into Milan’s dynamic creative scene.
The project was born from the meeting between Roberta Tagliavini, the curatorial force behind ROBE, and Monsieur Matteo Sorbellini, a creative who has transformed VIP ROOM over the years into a poetic community where fashion becomes storytelling, vision, and experimentation. The collaboration between the two realities created a natural dialogue between fashion, art, and design, languages that have always defined the identity of both.
VIP ROOM takes shape within a visually striking space that can be accessed through a street-facing window leading into an environment that feels suspended in time. Inspirations from New York in the 1950s and 1980s blend with the bohemian spirit of Brera and the eclectic aesthetic of ROBE. One of the defining elements is the large “Caribbean blue” room chosen by Sorbellini as the signature color of the brand. This tone has also become a recognizable feature in the brand’s communication and labels.
Inside the gallery store, iconic furniture pieces and design works create a unique atmosphere where fashion and art exist in constant dialogue. Among the notable pieces present is the famous Pratone by Gufram. Within this creative setting, Monsieur Sorbellini presented BRERISSIMA, a Couture à Porter collection dedicated to women and inspired by the cultured and sophisticated spirit of Brera.
The collection introduces a language that blends archival inspiration with contemporary design. Highlights include three-dimensional floral bombers that expand the silhouette while maintaining a sense of lightness, denim embellished with crystals and pure silk scarves, and unisex tailoring inspired by 1970s couture paired with the sculptural “Dinosauro” trousers.
The “Shibuya” shirts combine romantic elements with precise tailoring construction. Meanwhile, pure silks and taffeta, fabrics that are central to the Maison’s identity, appear in metropolitan trench coats, balloon tops, and architecturally structured dresses.
Limited productions and one-of-a-kind pieces reaffirm the brand’s position within contemporary couture, which increasingly embraces an urban and international perspective.
With this Milan debut, VIP ROOM opens a new chapter in the heart of the ফ্যাশন system, while ROBE ROBERTAEBASTA further strengthens its identity as a curatorial space that welcomes cross-disciplinary projects where fashion, art, and design coexist in a shared creative language.
