কিডসুপার স্প্রিং/সামার ২০২৭: মায়ামিতে রেসেনহা রানওয়ে শো-এর ভেতরের কথা

Nu Stadium, Miami – Long before Paris Fashion Week. Before the films, the galleries, the global collaborations, or the runways that turned a Brooklyn-born label into one of fashion’s most unpredictable forces — there was football. For Colm Dillane, the game has never been merely a sport. It has been a compass. Wherever work takes him, one of the first things he looks for is a pitch and a group of strangers willing to play. A ritual repeated across cities, languages, and continents. One of the few things on earth capable of dissolving borders in minutes.

For Spring/Summer 2027, that idea became the foundation of everything.

A Stadium, Not a Venue

Presented last night at Miami’s Nu Stadium — strategically timed during the world’s largest football tournament, wedged between two major matches — KidSuper‘s latest runway show, titled Resenha, did not merely reference the sport. It inhabited it. The evening carried the anticipation, the collective breath-holding, the pride and noise of a stadium moments before kickoff. Drums echoed through the venue. Chants rolled across the crowd. Flags waved from the stands, where supporters, families, creatives, athletes, and guests sat shoulder to shoulder, blurring every line between spectator and participant.

From the opening look to the finale, the atmosphere never settled into that of a traditional fashion show. It remained a game.

The title itself is borrowed from a Brazilian expression — one that loosely describes the conversations, stories, jokes, and moments of connection that orbit football without ever touching the match itself. Not the ninety minutes on the pitch, but everything surrounding them. The social fabric that turns a game into a culture. That spirit shaped the entire project from its earliest stages.

If Paris has become the permanent home of KidSuper’s runway shows, Miami became the setting for a singular chapter within that larger story. Dillane jokingly calls the event a “প্যারিস ফ্যাশন সপ্তাহ off-site show,” but the move reflects something more deliberate — an opportunity to stage a collection in direct conversation with the culture that inspired it, in a city that had temporarily become a crossroads for fashion, sport, music, art, and entertainment.

Fifty-Plus Artists. One Conversation.

This season, KidSuper collaborated with more than fifty artists from around the world. The intent was never to create definitive representations of countries or cultures, but to build a conversation between them. The project became an exercise in curiosity — a process of meeting people, researching unfamiliar histories, exchanging ideas, and discovering common ground through creativity.

The resulting collection reflects that collective process. Different perspectives, techniques, visual languages, and references coexist throughout the work. Many voices shaped it, yet it remains unmistakably KidSuper. Like football itself, the collection is less interested in borders than in what happens when people come together.

Each look on the runway celebrated different communities, perspectives, and creative exchanges. The finale brought models onto the field alongside children — echoing the tradition of players entering the pitch hand-in-hand with young mascots before major matches. Families throughout the stadium responded with visible emotion, cheering every entrance as the show built toward its conclusion.

The Collaborations

The partnerships surrounding Resenha extended well beyond the garments themselves, each one rooted in the same ethos of connection that drove the collection.

McDonald’s partnered with KidSuper on a creative fashion collaboration built on a shared love of football, bringing the energy of the tournament closer to fans everywhere. Building on the brand’s World Cup campaign and collectible cups, the partnership debuted a limited-edition merchandise collection during the show — available beginning today at 12 PM EST. Designed through KidSuper’s creative lens, the collection draws on the shared rituals surrounding the game, where supporters and icons often find common ground. Meals, keepsakes, and familiar moments of fandom become wearable expressions that carry the spirit of the tournament beyond the stadium and into culture.

Mercedes-Benz expanded its ongoing relationship with KidSuper following their Spring/Summer 2026 partnership, presenting a new collaboration developed specifically for Miami. Timed to coincide with a summer of international football, the project brings together automotive heritage, football culture, and KidSuper’s creative language through bespoke vehicle-and-fashion pairings inspired by seven nations whose jerseys bear one or more championship stars.

বিআইএস, the travel brand founded by Shay Mitchell, joined the project as the show’s exclusive luggage partner while previewing an upcoming collaboration with KidSuper. In a season built around the people, places, and chance encounters that football makes possible, the partnership spoke to the journeys behind those connections. Mitchell herself appeared on the runway in a nod to her Canadian roots, while BÉIS contributed custom travel pieces woven throughout the show experience.

Hublot, which pioneered the recognition of football’s unifying power and its ability to evoke shared emotions — a commitment first demonstrated in 2006 and since solidified through investments in the sport, notably its distinctive referee boards — joined the project through a selection of timepieces incorporated into the collection, adding another layer to the show’s ongoing conversation between fashion, sport, and culture.

Bose brought sound to the রানওয়ে, with models wearing the limited-edition Bose x KidSuper headphones — merging sound, sport, and art in a standout ফ্যাশন moment.

Maison Perrier continued its ongoing collaboration with KidSuper, building on a relationship shaped by a shared interest in creativity, self-expression, and cultural exchange. Returning to the project in Miami, the partnership reflects an affinity for the communities, ideas, and collaborations that continue to shape the broader creative landscape.

The collaborative spirit extended to Miami itself. Through a partnership with ইস্তিতুতো মারাঙ্গোনি মিয়ামি, students participated in multiple areas of the show, becoming active contributors to a project centered on creativity, exchange, and community.

The Night Itself

The evening welcomed guests from across fashion, সঙ্গীত, sport, and বিনোদন, সহ Alessandra AmbrosioRussShenseeaReykonHannah TraoreKeshad Johnson, এবং Shilo Sanders.

Following the finale, Sean Paul surprised the audience with a live performance that transformed the stadium into a full-blown celebration. Guests left their suites to join models, families, children, collaborators, and the KidSuper team on the field as fireworks lit the Miami sky overhead. The celebration continued late into the night with an official after-party at Nu Stadium before moving to E11EVEN Miami Nightclub.

As always with KidSuper, the collection is only part of the story. The clothes matter. The collaborations matter. The spectacle certainly matters. But at its heart, Resenha asks a simpler question:

What happens when people who might otherwise never meet find themselves connected through a shared passion?

For one unforgettable night in Miami, KidSuper answered it.
