Australian Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027

May 12, 2027 to May 16, 2027
أسبوع الموضة الأسترالي returned to Sydney as a vivid showcase of the country’s creative energy, staged across the MCA and venues throughout the city. Presented by Shark Beauty, with Destination NSW as strategic partner, the week united emerging talent and established names under one runway banner, tracing the future of Australian style.
The designer roster spanned striking range: Aje, Bianca Spender, Carla Zampatti, and Toni Maticevski brought polish and structure, while Alix Higgins, Christian Kimber, and Karla Špetić offered directional, boundary-pushing silhouettes. First Nations storytelling anchored the week through Buluuy Mirrii, Ngali, and a collaboration between Edition and artist Sarrita King, weaving narrative and craft into every stitch. Gary Bigeni closed with his signature hand-painted color and draped forms, backed by a playful soundtrack and a cast radiating individuality.
A dedicated platform for rising names, including Alberta Bucciarelli, Gloria Chol, Van Brussel, and KingKing Creative, signaled the next generation stepping confidently into the spotlight. The Edit Runway rounded things out with a beauty and color focus, styled by MakeUp Forever, spotlighting labels like Aje, Bondi Born, and Henne.
Beyond the runway, the Vogue Vintage Market, presented by eBay, invited collectors and curators to celebrate الموضة history alongside new-season presentations. Street style outside the venues proved just as compelling: bold silhouettes, unapologetic color, and instinctive styling that favored personality over polish.
Ultimately, the week distilled into a singular truth — that fashion, at its best, holds more than clothing. It’s storytelling, connection, and craft, propelled forward by a community determined to keep Australian design moving.
