Tailoring as contemporary language: Mulish reinterprets outerwear

Florence, the international capital of men’s fashion, served as the backdrop for a major event that confirmed Mulish‘s role as a protagonist on the contemporary fashion scene. On the occasion of Pitti Uomo Fall/Winter 2026–27, the brand presented its new collection with an exclusive event that took place on Wednesday, January 14, in the heart of the city, bringing Piazza degli Strozzi and Colle Bereto to life with an evening dedicated to style, elegance, and lifestyle.
A highly successful event that saw wide public and industry participation, consolidating the brand’s presence at Pitti Uomo and marking a key moment in Mulish’s growth journey, now backed by almost 30 years of Made in Italy history.
The evening saw the participation of numerous special guests from the world of entertainment and show business, including Raoul Bova, Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Nicolò De Devitiis, Edoardo Stoppa, Juliana Moreira, magician Jey Lillo, Gigi D’Alessio, and judoka Marco Maddaloni, testimony to the brand’s strong connection with the world of showbiz and contemporary lifestyle.
The experience was further enhanced by an exclusive gastronomic corner dedicated to raw fish, curated by Punto Nave restaurant, recognized as the best restaurant in Italy for four years, which accompanied guests on a journey of excellence perfectly in tune with the values of quality, research, and attention to detail that define Mulish’s identity.
Founded in 1997 in Naples by Daniele Gervasio, founder and creative director, Mulish today represents an international reality that has evolved while keeping its Neapolitan tailoring roots firmly intact. A journey that is fully reflected in the FW 2026–27 collection, conceived as a coherent and dynamic narrative in which tailoring meets outerwear, redefining its codes.
The absolute protagonist of the season is the Field Jacket, the collection’s signature piece: a functional icon reinterpreted through sartorial construction, balanced volumes, and next-generation technical materials, designed to guarantee comfort, protection, and impeccable fit. Windproof, breathable, and essential in its lines yet rich in details, the Mulish Field Jacket becomes a symbol of elegance in motion, ideal for accompanying the contemporary man between work, travel, and leisure.
Alongside it, the collection rediscovers the double-breasted design as an expression of conscious elegance and introduces hybrid overshirts, inspired by the safari jacket, that merge the practicality of a utility garment with the refinement of a tailored jacket, wearable both as outerwear and as part of a formal ensemble. A deep color palette, refined materials, and constant attention to detail define a proposal that responds to the growing need for authenticity and quality, in a historical moment when dressing once again becomes an expression of identity.
Over the years, Mulish has built a strong, recognizable image, also thanks to exceptional testimonials from Gabriel Garko and Carlo Ancelotti, symbols of elegance, charisma, and international style. The brand has also been the official sponsor of Udinese Calcio, strengthening the dialogue between fashion, sports, and lifestyle and establishing itself as one of Serie A’s most relevant fashion partners.
“Mulish has grown from an artisanal dimension to become an international reality with over 400 employees, keeping its roots firmly intact and constantly investing in product, image, and events. Our goal is to continue bringing Neapolitan tailoring to the world, evolving it without ever betraying its essence,” declared Daniele Gervasio.
The success of the Florence event now opens the way to new appointments, events, and exclusive fashion shows that will accompany Mulish toward the official presentation of the Fall/Winter 2026–27 collection, marking the beginning of a new phase in the brand’s creative journey and confirming its international vocation.
