Deepika Padukone is an Indian film actress and producer. She was born on January 5, 1986, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and raised in Bangalore, India. She began her acting career in 2006 with the Kannada film “Aishwarya” and made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with the film “Om Shanti Om,” for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Deepika has since appeared in numerous commercially successful Bollywood films, including “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” “Chennai Express,” “Bajirao Mastani,” “Padmaavat,” and “Chhapaak.” She has won three Filmfare Awards for her performances in “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela,” “Piku,” and “Padmaavat.”
Apart from acting, Deepika is also known for her philanthropic work, particularly her efforts to raise awareness about mental health issues. She has been vocal about her own struggle with depression and has established the Live Love Laugh Foundation to support individuals dealing with mental health problems.
Deepika has also endorsed several brands and products, including L’Oreal Paris, Coca-Cola, and Tanishq. She is married to fellow actor Ranveer Singh.
