The Brand Marks First Full Assortment Store Openings with Victoria’s Secret Supermodels
Victoria’s Secret, the most glamorous lingerie brand in the world, expands its global presence with the opening of the first two full assortment stores in China, located in Shanghai and Chengdu. Spanning four floors with the largest Victoria’s Secret store facade in the world, the Victoria’s Secret Shanghai Lippo Store is also the brand’s first Asian flagship store.
Get ready for the official Angel landing on March 8th in Shanghai with appearances by Victoria’s Secret Supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio and Josephine Skriver, Ming Xi, and Sui He. Alessandra and Sui will also be appearing on March 10th at the Chengdu store for a meet and greet with fans.
Both stores feature a wide assortment of the brand’s signature bras, panties and sleepwear. Bras will be merchandised by style making intimates shopping easier. All of the beautiful and feminine lingerie collections that Victoria’s Secret is known for will be available, including Body by Victoria™, Very Sexy™, Dream Angels™ and Bombshell™, as well as the brand’s athletic line, Victoria Sport.
The full lines of popular fragrances such as Victoria’s Secret Bombshell, xo, Victoria and Victoria’s Secret Tease are all available along with Victoria’s Secret Body Care and Victoria’s Secret PINK beauty products.
Both stores will also feature Victoria’s Secret PINK—a collection of bras, panties, loungewear and beauty inspired by and focused on university-aged women, with the Shanghai store devoting an entire level to the assortment.
The designs for both stores take glamour and sophistication to a whole new level, with iconic Fashion Show looks punctuating the storefronts. TheVictoria Secret’s Shanghai Lippo store boasts a stunning textured acrylic and mirror glass facade with dynamic lighting that provides color and light variations from day to night, while the Victoria’s Secret Chengdu store takes a modern approach with an eye-catching pink storefront.
The interior of both stores takes a cue from residential design in both feel and scale including over-sized custom chandeliers and lingerie-inspired detailing. The front of the stores are dark and dramatic with a gallery of timeless black and white Supermodel imagery while other areas have playful wall-coverings with pops of the brand’s iconic pink. Video screens playing Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show footage are a focal point within the stores, plus additional Fashion Show looks appear throughout the Shanghai location.
Both stores offer an intimate and glamorous fitting experience—including seating areas with custom furniture, flocked pink and velvet finishes and signature fragrance testers, some even located in the fitting rooms.
Highly trained Bra Specialists will be on hand to help customers find their perfect fit and each uniquely designed fitting room will have a call button for assistance.
The Shanghai flagship also exclusively features a Victoria’s Secret Angel Suite, one of only three in the world. This by-appointment suite of private fitting rooms and adjacent lounge provide the ultimate luxury shopping experience forVIPcustomers to relax in an intimate, glamorous setting while trying on the latest merchandise from Victoria’s Secret.
