Second Annual StyleMakers Awards and Honorees
The Leaders in Entertainment and Fashion Come Together to Honor Innovators for Their Accomplishments in Both Worlds
Los Angeles, CA (September 12, 2016) – Variety & WWD are celebrating the Second Annual StyleMakers on November 17th at Quixote in West Hollywood, CA, presented by Mercedes-Benz and Anastasia Beverly Hills. The iconic publications are coming together with their partners to recognize and celebrate the creative behind-the-scenes talent in fashion, beauty and style that made an impact on the entertainment industry in the past year. For more than 100 years, Variety & WWD have been at the forefront of reporting news on the entertainment and fashion industries.
The StyleMakers celebration spotlights innovators whose work has been seen on hit shows like ‘The Voice’ and ‘Friends’ as well as in the pages of Vogue and Harper’s BAZAAR. Honorees to date include fashion designer Zuhair Murad, stylist Petra Flannery, hair stylist Chris McMillan and make-up artist Rachel Goodwin. Three other honorees will be announced in the upcoming months including – Costume Designer, Style Innovator – Female and Style Innovator – Male.
The event will also include two sets of conversations – one with fashion designer honoree Zuhair Murad and the second with the costume designer honoree, still to be announced.
