A JOURNEY TO THE GOLDEN AGES
March 8th, 2017 – Valentin Yudashkin presents the Spring-Summer 2017 Haute Couture collection. The designer was inspired by the 1920’s that are famous for the art deco style, luxury, and the blossoming of fashion all of which was accompanied by jazz and charleston.
The Golden Ages collection is represented by unique cocktail and evening dresses with drapery volumous, bell-bottomed skirts as well as blouses, jackets, overcoats and suits with lengthened jackets. As fot the trousers Valentin Yudashkin offers both slim fit and wide types all of which are embroidered with scatters of jemstones, beads, bugle and sparkling rhinestones.
It has to be said that embroidery and décor had a special place reserved for them within the collection: they complement the excuisite Valentin Yudashkinansembles and stress certain aspects of the pieces. Geometric lines and ornaments, which come from art deco architecture, chrysanthemums, storks, pagodas, spangled fringes which crown the collection and ostrich feathers all help create a unique atmosphere of chique and elegance. The main colours used in the collection are: powdered pearl, pink, platinum gold, light blue, grey, lemon yellow and mint.
All of the ansembles are created using tafetta, brocade, silk, tulle, chiffon, metallised fabric, satin-duchess, crepe, sequin fabric and lace. The spectacular décor combination of shiny materials and modest colors infuses all of the pieces with refined elegance and luxury.
