THE FASHION PARTY IN MILAN STARTS WITH HOMI J&F

Everyone who is interested in the fashion business knows that in February it is time for fashion week in Milan, but did you know that the party does not start there for the people in the city?

A number of fairs events take place before Milan’s time for the big four shows, and February is one of the liveliest months for the city. To open the now 10 days of happenings, is HOMI Milano Fashion and Jewels, that takes place from the 15th to the 18th of February. Over 600 exhibitors with 120 new entries just this year, will be in charge of the original and surprising events dedicated to the culture of accessories during HOMI Fashion & Jewels.

One and only window of the world of accessories, HOMI Fashion & Jewels presents itself in a few days with a renewed formula targeting the goal to represent the unique reference for the whole accessory universe: from fashion accessories to bijoux and trendy jewelry, from beachwear to components, from hard stones to colored ones.

The identity of the event, unique in Italy in terms of format, dimensions and merchandise on display, will be enhanced by a new location, simultaneously with other events, as MICAM and MIPEL, dedicated respectively to shoes and leather goods. This is a truly indispensable appointment, able to offer all operators a room for new synergies, interesting creative stimuli, better effectiveness and business opportunities. The wide and diversified offer increasingly represents the key to the event: a mix of innovation, design, craftsman savoir-faire and internationality. The structure is extremely articulated by category, price-level, opportunity for use and purchasing processes.

The scouting on the international market has opened as mentioned to 120 entries with a very positive response both in terms of exhibitors and buyers.

The new format redesigns the layout according to the most current logics and ranges in distribution and variety and is presented through four visit routes structured on the needs of the visitors and their final targets: Style, Everyday, Gems & Components, Fashion & Jewels International Delivery.

The itineraries will be distinguished by product characteristics, positioning and distribution channels and they will house special spaces inspired by specific themes and particularly original and innovative proposals. Among them:

– New Craft, the area that houses the most exclusive capsules created by new emerging creatives;

– #tuttepazzeperibijoux (All Crazy About Bijoux), the project that brings together the best national and international proposals, in the name of originality and exclusivity, a reference point for concept stores and jewelers all over the world;

– Special Summer area which offers a preview of a wide selection of beachwear accessories and outfits designed for the summer;

A returning appointment is #IAMTHEMAKER, the project that gives voice to artisans: exhibitors and buyers will have the opportunity to tell their story firsthand and promote their professionalism while, to their alongside, influencers and opinion leaders will talk about craftsmanship from the point of view of those who live it, choose it and wear it.

There is a rich panel of events, offering single and collective runway shows within the HOMI FJ Live Stage space and including workshops with international speakers. The soul of the event is also completed with attention to trends, aiming to turn this event into a real cultural observatory on the fashion of bijoux and accessories, able to identify and communicate the trends that will characterize the next seasons. Thanks to the collaboration with high-level academic realities such as the POLI.DESIGN, a special installation will be able to illustrate effectively and clearly two important 2020-2022 trends that are emerging in the world of bijoux and fashion accessories.

The culture of the accessory, on the other hand, will be the heart, literally, of “BE A SWEETHEART- The heart in fashion jewelry”, the first of a series of exhibitions designed as a corollary of the editions of HOMI Fashion & Jewels. This is taking place from 8 to 18 February, in the spaces of Palazzo dei Giuseconsulti in Milan. For this first edition, the theme will be the heart, investigated according to all its forms.
