Are you thinking of traveling to Thailand ? If the answer is yes, then you can’t miss this.
Yes! I am here at one of the most popular tourist spots in Bangkok. The Grand Palace is certainly a beautiful place to visit.
It was my first time at the Grand Palace and it not gonna be the last for sure, the place is just amazing and I felt like taking 400k pictures.
The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782. The king, his court and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925. The present monarch, King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), currently resides at Chitralada Palace, but the Grand Palace is still used for official events. (Source: Wikipedia)
But if you are going to visit the Grand Palace, you need to read this first:
Strict dress code for visiting the Grand Palace. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is Thailand’s most sacred site. Visitors must be properly dressed before being allowed entry to the temple.
– Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves —
– Women must be similarly modestly dressed. No see-through clothes, bare shoulders, etc.
If you show up at the front gate improperly dressed, there is a booth near the entry that can provide clothes to cover you up properly.
