46th Annual West Indian Day Parade

Monday was the 46th Annual West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn, New York. Thousands of participants in colorful costumes danced to the sounds of steel drums with onlookers waving flags celebrating their Caribbean heritage. Mayor Bill de Blasio and mayoral candidates Christine Quinn, Bill Thompson, and Anthony Weiner marched in the parade a week ahead of the Democratic primary.
