🌊✨Missing paradise @youandmemaldives but spending the weekend with my @neda warriors and @aerie fam is a dream too✨ Was talking to a new friend I made today Rachael and she didn’t realise I don’t get paid a speaker fee for all the walks I do with #NEDA and we talked about her talking the less paid internship with an amazing company over the better paid job – this isn’t always an option for everyone but I’ve always made decisions based on purpose not money. Because how many £ you have isn’t the single definition of success, your impact big and small in others lives, how you show up for your beliefs, for others and yourself, the love and light you spread, the joy you feel being alive, and so much more can all be part of success. I didn’t take any pics today because I was too busy in the moment, connecting irl and loving being present in such an uplifting space, and often some of the greatest moments aren’t caught in photos. So sometimes I make sure I put time aside to shoot and I love these pics by @eliyz_gallery @fitfazil ❤️ I still appreciate taking photos in the worlds most beautiful locations (especially during #sunset) posing and dressing up, and sharing them with you all. But please never compare these pics to your own lives. Right now I’m sat in another airport, 5 flights this weekend, Ive managed to burn my forehead, leggings on and travelling solo with 4 kinder Buenos. Genuinely don’t know how to round up this most rambling inconsistent caption ever but this is me 🙂 thanks for listening😝 ILYSM see you all at the Boston NEDA walk tomorrow🙌❤️ . 👙 @aerie #aeriereal . . #mycaptionsareridiculous #beach #maldives #paradise #travelholic #travelgram #beachday #notatcoachella #coachella #blue #bodyconfidence #curves #ocean

💙It’s #nedawareness week💚 I have shared my story with body dysmorphia and disordered eating with the world because I want to combat the stigma around this mental illness. And hopefully inspire you to know that what you might be feeling is completely normal, but there is help and hope. There’s communities online for support and helplines like @neda that are here for you! 💚💙 The reason I posted these pics is not a before and after, but this years theme is 🌟come as you are🌟 I wish I had known that photoshop and retouching didn’t make me perfect or beautiful. Also that I didn’t have to be a “Male fantasy” look how posed the pic on the left is, how squished my poor boobies are. This was again another societal fantasy I thought as a woman I was expected to be. I’ve never felt more beautiful or sexy just being the real me, and knowing that I’m loved because I’m me not some fantasy or perfected illusion. That my value wasn’t based on a set of measurements, a number on the scale or the size I wear. 💙💚 If you are unsure or have questions about how you might be feeling there a free online screening tool at www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/screening-tool 💚💙 I know now that my body is mine and therefore perfectly imperfect and my home to be cherished. Grateful I’m here to tell my story when there are too many lives being lost from this mental illness. I hope that someday you share your story because we need more representation when we talk about #eatingdisorderrecovery ❤️ Sending you all so much love and hope that you will tell yourself today and everyday that you love yourself too ❤️ . . . #ed #eatingdisorderawareness #edawareness #edwarrior #selflove #bodyconfidence #healthandwellness #iskra

✨❤️On the subject of love.. LOVE THE SWIM YOU’RE IN IS BACK & BIGGER THAN EVER! This year by sharing your #unretouched swim pic / vid / boomy tagging @Aerie + #AerieReal we’ll donate $1 ❗️upto $50k❗️😱🙌 to non profit @NEDA for everyone of your posts 🙌 This partnership means so so much to me as having struggling myself with body dysmorphia and disordered eating it’s my mission to end the stigma surrounding a mental illness which has the highest mortality rate and affects over 30 million people in the US alone. Together we can save lives and by speaking up, sharing our stories, joining #NEDA for an advocacy day, volunteering or simply reaching out to someone who may need help and joining our Aerie x NEDA love the swim your in movement. ✨ And I always want you to remember you’re not alone, and if you need help… You can take the National Eating Disorders free online screening and talk to someone on the helpline +1-800-931-2237 (if you could share your countries eating disorder helplines below that would be amazing – thank you)🙏 Always remember you are enough, you are meant to be here and I’m sending you a big ghost hug and lots of love😘❤️

Smiling because ⚡️celluLIT⚡️ Smiling because Keratosis pilaris is killing it Smiling because regardless of any perfected beauty ideal, I’m on a beach, feeling the sand in my toes and the smell of the ocean and that’s all that matters. Insecurities shouldn’t let you limit your life experiences and happiness. These are the bodies God made for us, don’t let perfection be the thief of joy. You were always good enough and deserve to live life on your terms. I know you heard it a gazillion times from me but #everyBODYisabikinibody this just happens to be mine but don’t compare it to yours because yours is perfectly imperfect too🔥😏❤️ . . 👙 @aerie #aeriereal #noretouch #selflove #bodyconfidence #neda #everyBODYisbeautiful #REAL

Me checking my phone and seeing 4.4milly of you part of my online fam😍😍😍 It’s wild! Truly wild to me… my life would not be the same without everyone of you. Your support and love changed my life I’m forever grateful and working on so many things for 2019 that I hope will make you happy and feel good. I know I’ve met lots of you but I really hope this year I can try to meet and hug even more of you. No matter what your goals and dreams are, I was just a girl from a random small town in England called Kidderminster so you can do it too, it took a long a$$ time (15years now) but was worth it all – always believe in yourself even if no one else does❤️✨ Thank you to my family and friends, my agents @jagmodels @models1 and @aerie for believing in me and giving me the biggest opportunity that began the biggest most rewarding journey of my life love you all😘😘😘 👙 @aerie #aeriereal #barbie #pink💕

I remember when @aerie used a pic kinda like this [I was sat down twisting but more importantly happy and feeling confident] in a campaign shot about 4/5years ago and the response shocked me. I’m not posing or breathing in, my skin is soft and squishy, this is what my stomach naturally looks like when I’m moving, twisting… living. #aerieReal means me and my fellow models are never retouched, and the comments said that because my stomach didn’t look like what had traditionally been shown in lingerie or swim ads It was “disgusting, diseased, and like a fat 🐄” As shocked as I was that people were shaming my natural non photoshopped bod it excited me because clearly these images needed to be seen and shared. I will continue to do me, and be grateful that I have this body that God made for me. I urge you to see yourself for more than others opinions, images you see or ideals that aren’t even real. You and your body deserve your love❤️

You may have noticed I didn’t post last week on mental health awareness day. This is why… ✨ Even though I support and encourage all conversation around mental health to raise awareness and improve education, having this one day a year and using the hashtag and doing a post is not enough. ✨ Mental illness is part of people’s live 365days a year 24hours of the day. So I’m not saying stop posting on the set days each year but I’m hoping you can continue the conversation and being vocal throughout the year. And I’m not talking about posts online I’m talking about raising awareness within your family, friendship groups, schools and communities. ✨ This picture may seem irrelevant but this is generally how it works (especially here on insta) to gain most attention for my captions and also this pic is the definition of a high light. ✨ I’m happy because I’m in Miami, I am enjoying a day off, the sun is shining, I think my swimsuit is cute, abs are kinda poppin, got a bit of a tan, the background is lush oh and I’m surrounded by my best gfs and life is incredible ✨ So when you’re scrolling you’re gonna see this – and I don’t blame myself or anyone else for wanting to share the best bits. I scroll through my phone pics and I don’t find any photos of me when I’m feeling lonely, exhausted or when something hasn’t gone my way I’m disappointed or crying or feeling rejected – I don’t capture those moments. But that is real too! ✨ So if you’re not feeling OK and thinking everyone else (especially online) is always happy and has no problems just remember they just probably aren’t sharing that. ✨ So protect yourself, seek help if you aren’t feeling OK from a friend or family member you trust or a professional. Because if your arm was hurting you’d be going straight to the doctor and our minds are the most complicated part of us so sometimes we may need help. ✨ I hope you all know it’s OK to talk about how you’re feeling and maybe if you don’t have someone IRL who you feel comfortable with there are helplines and communities online here to support you – you are not alone. ✨ 1-800-273-8255

I’m self made because even when I was dropped for being to curvy and also told I was too small to be a plus-size model I didn’t take no for an answer then spent the last 14 years getting to where I am now – surviving my Eating Disorder and challenging the need to retouch, moving to NY on my own with some money I’d saved up and creating the life I dreamt of on my own. Just because you get hundreds of no’s or people who don’t believe in you – never stop believing in yourself. Even if your family aren’t rich, connected or famous – doesn’t mean you can’t make it, you just have to hustle even harder. Even if people laugh in your face, if you believe you can do it, chase your dreams. The harder it is to get there the more rewarding it will be. Use even the negative energy to fuel your drive and passion. Celebrate the small victories and learn lessons from your mistakes and failures. Self made doesn’t have a single definition…. if you’re a single parent working your a$$ off at work and at home you’re self made. If your starting your own business tryna get it off the ground you’re self made. If you made it through high school or just starting a new course you’re self made. It’s time to not just celebrate what we are told or shown as success but celebrating ourselves and everyone around us. 👑 What makes YOU Self Made? I wanna know and I want us to inspire and uplift each other🙌 #selfMade

Recently a store associate told me a familiar story of how young girls would come into the store to try on a bikini asking for a small, it not fitting and needing a larger size then breaking down and feeling insecure. She asked me what to do to comfort and help (because this happens all the time as many of us think our beauty and worth is based off our size) So I told her always remember and share the following – and please everyone reading this repeat this to yourself, your loved ones even your damn dog! Lol I AM NOT DEFINED BY SIZE I AM NOT DEFINED BY MY WEIGHT I AM NOT DEFINED BY A LABEL I AM BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE I AM ME I AM GOOD ENOUGH I AM WORTHY And as you all know #everybodyisabikinibody 🙌🙌🙌 S/o to all the #aeriereal store associate and everyone who wants to help others feel good about themselves – you are making a difference😘 #sizelargeneverfeltsogood
