Grammy-Nominated Superstar Producer Metro Boomin Makes History, Selling Out Two Shows As First Producer In Hip-Hop To Perform At The Pyramids Of Giza

May 10th, 2024 (Pyramids of Giza, Egypt)  GRAMMY® Award-nominated diamond-certified producer Metro Boomin made history as the first-ever producer to take the stage at the Pyramids of Giza. On April 30th, Boomin sold out a performance at one of the world’s seven wonders, delivering an unforgettable experience for fans featuring some of his chart-topping hits. Set against the backdrop of the Great Pyramids, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx, the stage provided a stunning landscape for this epic show. These historic pyramids have previously hosted music legends like Frank SinatraThe Grateful DeadThe Red Hot Chilli PeppersMaroon 5Mariah Carey, and the Black Eyed Peas, making Metro the first hip-hop producer to descend on the Great Pyramids stage.

This historical feat is one of many for Metro Boomin this year as he has dominated the charts since the release of his two-part project with longtime friend and 3x Grammy-winner Future. Representing a blistering takeover, the first album WE DON’T TRUST YOU exploded upon release on March 22nd, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200, is the most streamed album in a single day, and holds the #1 spot on the Apple Music charts in over 80 countries. With 251K units sold in the first week, it is the biggest album debut in 2024 with “Like That”  landing three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Part two of the project “WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU” also debuted at number 1, officially making Metro Boomin and Future the first collaborators with two number-one albums on the Billboard 200 back to back.
