LIFETIME’S AMERICAN BEAUTY STAR SEASON 2 LIVE FINALE: AMERICA DECIDED THE WINNER

The competition reached its climax as the three finalists traveled to New York City to show off their final looks in front of a live audience. The artists had one last shot to prove they were worthy of the title as America voted live to decide who won the title of American Beauty Star on Wednesday, March 27 at 10PM ET, on Lifetime.
Voting opened Wednesday, March 20, at 11pm EST, and closed Wednesday, March 27, at 10:45pm EST. Fans were encouraged to vote for who they wanted to be the next American Beauty Star by visiting americanbeautystar.com/vote, texting ‘Axel’ ‘Diana’ or ‘Lucy’ to 1(844) 658-STAR or tweeting using #ABSVoteAxel, #ABSVoteDiana, or #ABSVoteLucy.
The winner of American Beauty Star, Lucy Garland, received over $100,000 in cash and prizes including a $50,000 contract as a Consulting Beauty Artist with Revlon, an editorial feature in Cosmopolitan magazine, an all-expenses paid trip to New York City to see the hit Broadway musical, “Waitress,” $10,000 worth of JTV jewelry and an opportunity to design her own signature collection of Zenni Eyewear.
American Beauty Star season two featured fourteen hair and makeup artists who competed in a series of intense challenges, from creating high-end editorial looks to the latest red carpet and runway-ready beauty trends. The stakes were even higher this season as the contestants were responsible for executing every aspect of their look from hair to makeup and everything in between. Each judge used their unique expertise and decided who stays in and who packs up their brushes in each episode, leading to the explosive LIVE season finale event.
