Kareetta is an emerging brand of affordable essentials with embroidery, beadwork and hand painted details. Wearable from day through night, the minimalist versatility of its silhouettes are augmented by  the elegant  styling of its tops, dresses and lounge wear and may easily be accessorized for dressier occasions. The palette consists mostly of soft, romantic neutrals with vibrant pops of color for dramatic effect. The result is an all-occasion line that women can mix and match with their current wardrobe.

Kareetta overview

Founded by Swati Kelkar, the new brand is not only defining a modern kind of dressing but an entire lifestyle, supported by an assortment of ancillary products including accessories, jewelry and beauty. Notable are the scarves in the softest silk, cashmere and linen in a variety of prints. The rings are made out of sterling silver embellished with semi precious stones for a bold statement. The earrings are individually handcrafted and adorned with jewel tones. The sterling silver pendants have coral and mother-of-pearl elements.There are also organic, natural and toxic-free oils that come in sandalwood, rose, and lavender fragrances.

Ms. Kelkar’s abundance of fashion experience working for retail giants like Club Monaco, American Eagle Outfitters, Talbots, Kenneth Cole Productions and Kit and Ace prepared her well for leading her own brand. Her passion for building the brand goes beyond just the excellent quality of the garments and accessories. She is determined to create the embodiment of the Kareetta lifestyle with a sense of social responsibility. Committed to responsible sourcing, all the artisan work can be traced back to their specific country of origin. The goal is to be transparent with the supply chains, ensuring adherence to sourcing guidelines, traceable raw materials, and dealing only with suppliers that working in sustainable and equitable trade. Additionally, Kareetta donates a dollar from each product sold to provide food, shelter, clothing, and safety for abused and underprivileged children.
