Prior to founding her label in 2017, Isabella built a storied career as an Accessories Design Director at some of fashion’s most prestigious houses, including Armani, Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Tom Ford, where she not only helped build some of these brands’ most successful and remembered accessories and footwear collections, but also served as a sounding board and right hand to their powerful Creative Directors.
Isabella also served as a creative consultant for the accessories collections of Narciso Rodriguez, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Aerin Lauder, and Joseph Altuzarra during her storied career prior to founding her own label.

ABOUT ISABELLA KRON, THE DESIGNER
Few are able to follow their dreams to the level of success that tastemaker, designer, and fashion insider, Isabella Kron, has done. Born in Milan in the 1960s, Kron has been enamored with fashion since as long as she can remember.
Her more than two decades of fashion industry experience began with a baptism of fire and has led to the type of extraordinary career of which most fashionistas could merely aspire to have.
In 1984, Kron landed her first job working as a sales assistant in Milan—one of the most significant international fashion hubs at the time– a job she says was akin to being a “celebrity” at the time, at the Giorgio Armani boutique.
Directly from the sales floor, she was promoted to the Armani showroom and then personally selected by Maestro Armani himself for a paid internship in his atelier. From sales associate to intern to designer, Kron’s experience and profile as a trusted secret weapon grew during her time at Armani, which lasted until 1992.
As she rose the corporate ladder, Isabella Kron was invited to join the Calvin Klein design team in 1992, where she was tasked with developing their women’s accessories line. Her two year tenure at the iconic American label helped Kron better understand the United States market and better refine her tastes as both a designer and a connoisseur of great fashion.
In 1994, Tom Ford, -Creative Director for Gucci, personally asked Isabella to join his design team and entrusted her with overseeing his handbag line. Says Kron, “Working for Tom during his historic tenure at Gucci was incredible.
I became his right hand person not only for handbags, but also for shoes and accessories for women and men.” Kron remained at Gucci with Tom Ford until they both left in 2004.
After this extraordinary and very demanding period at Gucci, Kron needed a break and wanted to focus on her family, so she moved from London to Florida. Not long after establishing his own brand, Tom Ford came to visit Isabella at her new home in Palm Beach with an exciting new offer; to help him create his new brand.
Ready for a new challenge, Isabella Kron joined him and worked at Tom Ford from 2005 to 2008 to help him create his new brand, which was exclusively menswear at the time of its launch.
In 2008, after working under some of fashion’s greatest creative minds, Isabella Kron was ready to venture out on her own. Through her exciting new consultancy, Kron worked with Narciso Rodriguez, where she oversaw the launch of his first handbag line, Aerin Lauder, Joseph Altuzarra, and Dee Ocleppo, the luxury handbag line from Ocleppo Hilfiger, designer and wife of American fashion luminary Tommy.
With twenty-five years of fashion experience and expertise in craftsmanship, high-quality design, and heritage brand building, Isabella Kron founded her eponymous label in 2017.
