The Battier Take Charge Foundation Hosts an Evening of Wine Tasting, Dinner and Karaoke to Raise Money for College Scholarships
Heidi and Shane Battier are pleased to announce the return of Cabernet with Battier taking place at Byblos Miami on Saturday, February 4th, 2023.
Following a successful events in 2020 and 2022, the event is back and better-than-ever, with exceptional wines, food and entertainment.
In its inaugural two years, Cabernet with Battier has raised over $400,000 for The Battier Take Charge Foundation, a non-profit organization established by the Battier Family to fund college scholarships and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth in Miami and around the country.
The event will kick off with a full wine tasting with eight highly acclaimed Napa Valley vineyards: Arietta, CAMi, Pavi, Peju, Rapport, Sidelight, Stark and Paul Hobbs. The tasting will be followed by a decadent dinner for 100 guests, featuring Byblos Miami signature dishes with expertly paired wine selections.
Following dinner, the night continues in the Byblos’ private lounge – because no Battier Take Charge event is complete without Karaoke! This year, the Battiers are upping the ante with a live 5-piece band complete with back-up singers, giving attendees the opportunity for a true superstar experience.
Guests looking for their rockstar moment can take the stage in style and sing their hearts out like the pros do. As always, the evening will close with an over-the-top number from Shane Battier himself. This charity event will bring together some of South Florida’s finest to raise money for The Battier Take Charge Foundation.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Cabernet with Battier back for a third year to marry great people, delicious food, and incredible wines for a cause that means so much to us. Through Battier Take Charge, Heidi and I are committed to providing dynamic educational resources for incredibly deserving young scholars right here in our own backyard.
