CR FASHION BOOK UNVEILS 2018 CALENDAR “CR GIRLS 2018 WITH TECHNOGYM”
Today, Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book launched their first calendar “CR Girls 2018 with Technogym” shot by Steven Klein, featuring Gigi Hadid, Grace Elizabeth, Joan Smalls, Hailey Clauson, Paris Jackson, Hoyeon Jung, Binx Walton, Eniko Mihalik, Hannah Ferguson, Joelle Lombardi, Danielle Herrington, Halima Aden and Candice Swanepoel available now on CRFashionBook.com for $200 with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics.
As 2017 comes to an end, CR Fashion Book is celebrating a fresh, new beginning for 2018 with diverse beauty and strong, healthy bodies in a photo calendarshot by Steven Klein. Each calendar girl was chosen for their unique style, personality and iconic look.”Throughout my career, I have championed diversity of both race and body type. This casting includes both iconic supermodels and fresh faces in a modern representation of beauty and body. It’s about the multiplicity of woman in the year 2018,” said Roitfeld.
CR Fashion Book partnered with Technogym, the leading premium company in fitness and wellness, with its Italian design products in the world’s most prestigious hotels, wellness clubs and private homes.The brands synced together perfectly to portray the theme of the calendar by highlighting each model’s personal strength. Personal Line, Technogym’s hi-end design equipment range,is artfully placed within each month of the calendar. “We are proud of the partnership with the CR Girls Calendar. At Technogym, we have been promoting the wellness lifestyle for over 20 years and Carine’s project conveys our message with a very glamorous tone. We believe that a fashionable dress fits better on a healthy body,” said Nerio Alessandri, Founder and CEO of Technogym.
All proceeds from the sale of the calendar benefit the Special Olympics,the world’s largest sports organization for children and adults with disabilities. Roitfeld’s inspiration for the project and teaming up with the Special Olympics came from her personal trainer who is visually impaired. “I am in awe of any person who devotes their mind and body to athletics, but especially those with disabilities. This is the definition of courage. I am pleased the proceeds of this calendar support the Special Olympics—an organization I greatly respect—and to promote the visibility of its efforts,” said Roitfeld.

Alongside Roitfeld, her creative direction team, The Style Council (TSC), helped fully capture the unique beauty and style of each calendar girl. They pulled inspiration from the iconic work out looks from the Studio 54 era and the fabulous energy of the 1980’s and mixed those with the uber modern workout equipment from Technogym.
