Forte dei Marmi Celebrates Return of Two Michelin Star Chef Antonio Mellino with debut of new ‘Mediterranean Raw Fish Bar’
Last night, Forte dei Marmi celebrated the return of its Two Michelin Star Chef Antonio Mellino with the debut of his new ‘Mediterranean Raw Fish Bar,’ a hybrid culinary and design feast in collaboration with acclaimed Milan-based designerHenri Timi.
In partnership with Cultured Magazine, the evening welcomed over 100 VIPs as they all indulged in ‘Chef’s Creative Small Bites’ such as the “Mini Panzerotti” with ricotta and mozzarella, Potato Croquette with basil and mozzarella, Mini “Montanare” with tomato & Parmesan pizza, Rice Balls “Arancini”, and “Mediterranean” Fresh Catch of the Day Tris of Tartare, and specialty cocktails FDM Martini with purity vodka, lemon, basil, white balsamic and Italian Gin & Tonic mixing botanist Gin Tree Tonic, rosemary lime and lavender bitters. Notables in attendance included restaurant owner Tatiana Silva, Cultered Editor-in-Chief Sarah Harrelson, Jay Wall, Victoria Pesce Elliott, Hassan Pierre, Martina Basabe, Lori Warriner, Monica Mendez, Carlos & Lori Suarez, Elysze Held, Paula Beltran, Derek Sparks and Oliver & Sofia Morgan, to name a few.
The ‘Mediterranean Raw Fish Bar’ will be served daily with experiences to include a “Mediterranean” Ricciola Carpaccio with crunchy vegetables, lemon sauce and Himalayan salt, “Mediterranean” Fresh Catch of the Day Tris of Tartare,Sicilian Red Prawns Carpaccio with avocado, red onion, blueberry and castrovergine olive oil, “Great White” Oysters, and a Caviar Station – 30 gr, 50 gr, 100 gr served daily, and Mix Raw Fish Platter with red Sicilian’s prawns, raw langoustine, wild salmon sashimi, yellow fin tuna and red snapper, Raw Wild Langoustine, and Raw Wild Sicilian’s Red Prawns served Thursday to Sunday.

On Sundays, Forte dei Marmi offers guests an affordable, approachable and experiential $55pp pre-fixe brunch, highlighting the best of Italian cuisine. A kid’s menu is also available for $25, offering choice of Homemade Penne with parmesan cheese, tomato or pesto, Organic Chicken Milanese or Grilled Fish of the Day.
