During Milano Men’s Fashion Week, Eleventy organized a delightful breakfast for selected guests in the exclusive environment of the Hotel Bulgari, located between The Montenapoleone Fashion District and The Brera Art District, in the very heart of the city.

In the beautiful garden, where tables were graciously decorated and filled up with cookies and fruits, many of the guests gathered under the gazebo, where you could find a beautiful table football set designed by Berluti in collaboration with Bonzini, entirely handmade in France. While it offered the opportunity to leave the kids to have some fun, as the event was blessed by the presence of people of literally any age, in the main part of the garden, you could see the models walking around with some of the collection’s selected pieces.

From 8am to 12am the hotel Bulgari took care of serving a traditional Italian breakfast, with coffee and detox drinks, offering sweets, cookies and fruits, adding some pancakes for an international feeling.

Among the people, you could spot Marco Baldassari, founder and man director of the company, greeting all guests personally. Kindest and polite, he engaged talking to everyone who had questions for him, and took the time to show the details of his collection to buyers and fashion insiders.

Attending this breakfast meant looking at some of the most exquisite pieces seen at Milan Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020. You could envision the choice of the brand to address to a modern kind of man. A man who takes care of himself, who understands the importance of giving attention to details and the aesthetics. The collection is harmonic, new and traditional at the same time, mixing past and present with class and sobriety. 
 
With the goal of taking the responsibility to be environmental friendly, the brand decided to first investigate the most essential clothing in our everyday lives: denim. To it they applied the rule that makes the made in Italy a product of leading excellence “buy less, buy better”, and avoided all chemical washes and dyes, even in black denim. On this specific fact it is important to underline that Eleventy is one of the few manufacturers in Italy that apply a very strict anti-pollution regulation and industrial dyers forbid the use of harmful colouring agents, in favour of more costly, yet safer, manufacturing and water-treatment systems in order to limit their impact on the environment.
 
Products are made with respect to the environment and have a great durability: buy less, buy better.
 
Denim has always been important, but for this season, the decision was to accentuate the value of it. Born as a fabric for hard workers, like miners, it is today considered a luxury fabric. So Eleventy has translated it into a product with highest qualitative content: a lot of accent has been given to the evolution, e.g. in the pockets, worked in a way to enhance shadows and lights, or in the tailoring of each jeans where threads are of different colors, from lemon to tobacco: details that translate denim garments into unique garments.
 
Streetwear and athleisure are the newest and most interesting trends today in men’s fashion, and Eleventy has enriched them with the highest level of sartorial crafsmanship. The streetwear offers the same unrivalled comfort of sports apparel without sacrificing the elegance of a tailor-made jacket. Athleisure ensures the same skilful balance between aesthetics and ethics choosing not to use synthetic fabrics.
 
Eleventy has found harmony between progress and nature.
 
The jacket is definitely the most important piece of the collection, as jackets are what a man can’t miss in his wardrobe. The expert tailors have spent an average of 8 to 10 hours to finish each single piece. They are soft inside, the shoulders are natural with no padding, stitches are handmade and strong. The kind of jackets Eleventy creates are close to the body, with a soft approach as comfort must be the core element of each design. As Baldassari himself commented during the event, everyone speaks about luxury products, but in his mind, luxury today means comfort. Precious tissues like linen, silk and wool are mixed together as the combination of them gives both optical effects and performances that are more natural and grants the durability of the product. Eleventy’s jackets are endlessly versatile and can be adapted to different combinations and occasions.
 
An entire selection of the collection is dedicated to the emotional travel, and the colours of nature inspire the choice of chromatic nuances. All Eleventy garments are made in natural materials and you can of course find modern camo patterns: flat caps, backpacks, cargo bags and field jackets.
 
For sunglasses, the brand relies on the age-long know-how of Mazzucchelli, ancient Venetian craftsman of hand-made glasses, with antiallergenic metallic frames in Krometech metal. The Murano glasses have triacetate lenses which reproduce the same tints of the glass blown on the island of Murano.
 

 

 
Eleventy is a global brand that is growing exponentially with an incredibly positive 2018 and one of the most successful presentation of new garments at Milan men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020.
