CUOIO DI TOSCANA CONSORTIUM: AN IMPORTANT COMMITMENT
Cuoio di Toscana Consortium is the absolute leader in the leather sole sector, with 98% of the Italian market and 80% of the European one is not new to charitable causes and generous initiatives.
During fashion week in February, the Consortium had a cocktail party organised also to promote a very honorable cause: #inpiedipertutte.
The heart of the project was a special guitar, created by Fabrizio Poletti and autographed by Ermal Meta. This guitar has been on display in the prestigious antiques art gallery in Milan Robertaebasta for the entire fashion week and was auctioned on Charity Stars.
The proceeds intend to support the projects of the charity association Casa della Donna in Pisa, a support to female victims of violence. The association has been committed to this cause since 1990.
The guitar ideally represents all the craftsmanship behind a creation, regardless of the segment to which it belongs. A craftsmanship that must be protected, valued and recognised as a common heritage.
A unique piece, born from the skilled hands of the luthier Fabrizio Poletti who, since 2005, has crafted guitars with building materials or by reusing reclaimed wood, such as chestnut from barrels in which Chianti was produced.
The result are splendid instruments with a unique design. They preserve in the history of the wood, the memory of the materials from which they are born. His guitars are chosen by the most famous international musicians, from Bruce Springsteen to Brian May, from Keith Richards to Slash.
During the cocktail party on February the 18th, the atmosphere was enriched with works by Milo Manara printed on leather. You can see an example here:
The same night the new perfume Sole Leather Scent was presented, created exclusively for Cuoio Di Toscana. A home perfume made with over 100 highly prized components of natural origin: citrus, black pepper, amber .. an animal friendly perfume that meets the strict criteria of non-toxicity, a symbol of the brand’s conscious commitment.
