It was one of the coldest weekends in the city, but that didn’t stop fashion lovers from attending New York Fashion Week. To warm things up we were treated to designs by “Control Sector”. This New York-based contemporary street wear brand did not disappoint. It was part of Style Fashion Week and it took place at one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever been to, Gotham Hall. Control Sector showcased their men’s and women’s street wear fall/winter collection.
The collection was very cohesive with a range of items that can be used as single garments in many ways. Whether you mix and match other items you already own in your closet you’ll still look so stylish. The garments included some staple essentials from hoodies, coats, pants, etc… The right accessories made the outfits stand out even more.
I was very excited to see the women’s collection that blended as well as the men’s too. One of my favorite looks was when one of the models wore a monochromatic black garment, with a sleeveless jacket that balanced the outfit with the same color sunglasses in the shade of a dark burgundy hue. The hat along with the white sneakers balanced out the entire look & made it so fabulous and chic. I would totally wear it! Another garment that stood out to me was from the men’s collection. A male model wore a purple sporty jacket which was zipped up all the way so that all you can see was his mysterious dark eyes and his defined curls.

Overall, it was such an amazing show from start to finish. Control Sector maintained this collection of classic, sleek, and modern yet with a unique urban street twist that they are known to pull off and be so trendy.
