Accordingly, as the new vision for Chloé takes shape under creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi, The debut of the Sonnie sneaker in the Pre-Fall 2018 collection signals a woman who moves through life with forward momentum. Dynamic in form and purposeful in function, the design has been conceived as future-iconic – a style that is new today with staying power through the seasons.

Among the principal features of the Sonnie sneaker are its sloped silhouette, moulded and split bi-color sole, And cross-strap detailing. Whether as a high-top or classic running style, the shoe offers easy slip-on entry aided by a back loop rather than the front straps. This comfortable nylon upper section is enhanced with a textural mix of suede calfskin, mesh and neoprene – each material contoured as a flattering arrangement. Noticeable in an understated way, the Chloé logo appears embossed on the back and embroidered on the tongue. The strongest aspect of the Sonnie sneaker is how naturally it integrates with the Chloé wardrobe. Styled for Pre-Fall with a layering play of sport socks, leggings and cropped pants, the shoes can also be worn with toned-down attitude a jolt of athletic edge complementing a tailored blazer and sleek city trousers.
