ATELIER VERSACE Spring Summer 2015 Haute Couture Paris
The Haute Couture Spring Summer 2015 collection by Atelier Versace opened the Paris haute couture shows on Sunday night, in the chamber of commerce and industry; a stone’s throw away from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées and was sexy and glamorous.
Atelier Versace is entirely uncomplicated, which is either the label’s strength or weakness, depending on how you take your brands.
The dresses were long and form-fitting, with slim naked slivers peeled off across the body, as if Donatella had attacked her gowns with a lemon zester.
The silhouette is long line and the body is celebrated across dresses that outline the women’s figures perfectly, in swaying couture that almost forms waves directly onto the skin. The palette revolved around red, white, black and vibrant blue, even if several models in powdered pink were worth taking a look at.
The models included, star of the original Wonderbra posters, along with fellow 90s name Amber Valletta, Eva Herzigova and current Vogue cover girl Jourdan Dunn.
