Artistix Fashion debuts it’s SS19 Collection “Sierra”
On Friday, September 7th at Cedar Lake, Artistix Fashion founded by artist Greg Polisseni and the brand’s Creative Director Andy Hilfiger presented their sixth season’s collection titled “Sierra” for SS ‘19.
“Sierra was inspired by the true peace and tranquillity that is provided by the natural beauty of mother nature’s many landscapes,” said Greg Polisseni of his latest artwork. “If our society would spend more time outdoors and appreciate their surroundings, then our world would be a better place!”
The show’s collection included some of it’s signature pieces including their amazing camo jacket and pants that this season were in wonderful colors of purple, pink, yellow, grey and black infusing the colors of Polisseni’s “Sierra” painting. The models walked down the runway to classic rock songs that kept the audience singing and dancing in their seats. The Artistix show included both Women and Men’s ready to wear pieces and a new runway addition of Women’s swimwear and fashion forward cover ups in lots of bright colors.
Shiggy added some runway fun with his dance moves to Drake’s popular single “In my feeling (Kiki do you love me) song and the crowd couldn’t get enough of him. Even Lala Anthony who was in attendance was singing along while Shiggy danced.
Artistix’s show was attended by many legendary celebrities, influencers and rising stars including Andy Hilfiger’s nephew Mike Fredo, Tommy Hilfiger, LaLa Anthony, Brawley Chisholm of the Harlem Globetrotter’s, Patrick Byas, recording artist Bianca Bonnie and Recording artist Lia Givenchy.
This season’s show was both fun, edgy and trendy. Artistix is my favorite show during fashion week each season.
