Adrian Grenier, Artist Kelsey Montague, & Gran Centenario Tequila Celebrate Unveiling of New Mural & Silent Auction at Nautilus South Beach

On Friday, December 8, Gran Centenario® Tequila, Mexico’s number one selling super premium tequila, and international street artist Kelsey Montague, known for her viral angel wings murals, unveiled a set of custom designed Gran Centenario Tequila angel wings at SIXTY Nautilis South Beach with a VIP cocktail event.

Ahead of the official unveiling event, Entourage actor and environmentalist Adrian Grenier had a preview of the custom wings commenting to the artist that it was his first stop at Art Basel and looked forward to catching and photographing with them in other cities.

During the event, attending art collectors and tastemakers enjoyed Art Basel-inspired Gran Centenario Tequila Añejo cocktails of the Cucumber Angelita, Golden Angel and Centenario Sunrise as they bid in a silent auction for the one-of-a-kind wings, which raised$5,000. Notable guests included Brianna Addolorato, Taylor Schear, Ixamar Palumbo, Harry Baxter, Sara Pfeiffer, and Lindsay Karp.

An art exhibition with a cause, Montague’s mural was showcased at Art Basel partner hotel Nautilus South Beach’s hotel lobby and on display at the Art Basel sanctioned tent for guests to photograph and share on social media from December 8 to 10. For every picture posted with the hashtag #GCputWINGSon, Gran Centenario Tequila donates $10 to charities that benefit victims of the recent catastrophic earthquake in Mexico City.

In addition, Montague has painted custom Gran Centenario Tequila angel wings in high traffic areas of Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Denver and Chicago for people to pose for pictures “with the wings on”. Those who tag#GCputWINGSon will see $10 from the leading tequila brand donated to the Mexico City Earthquake Relief charity effort.

Representing Mexico’s first centenary of independence from Spain, the Gran Centenario Angel of Victory is proudly displayed on each bottle and is a perfect symbol for this initiative with Montague. The shared actions of perseverance and commitment provide the opportunity to help those in need in Mexico City after the devastating earthquake while simultaneously honoring the heritage and the respect of the Mexican community.
