By the time people move out of quarantine, some lessons learned by working at home will undoubtedly continue into the new normal. And among those many lessons is the idea that comfort in clothes cannot be underestimated. And with sustainability a main concern of many shoppers, it’s no wonder cotton is the fabric of choice by today’s consumers. Cotton is the most widely used fabric for apparel because of its softness, absorbency, and breathability. However, it is also a natural fiber it wears down faster, holds moisture longer, and is prone to shrinking. LA-based fashion label YJACK has found solutions for those problems while upping the ante. After years of research and development, the brand introduced its line of fashion casuals using its EXFINA cotton made from extra long staple cotton yarn, the highest grade yarn used only in about 8% of the world’s cotton yarn production. Because of its longer cotton fiber, the yarn makes for stronger, softer, and more durable fabrics.

Founded by Jack Yang, YJACK was launched in 2019 with a simple goal: to provide high-quality, eco friendly clothing, using the finest materials available, at affordable prices. Jack’s previous work as a sales associate for a junior clothing line was his introduction to the wholesale side of the fashion business. It also opened his eyes to aspects of design he had never before considered and prepared him for his next venture running a successful trimmings and fabric business for clothing sourced in the United States and overseas. Jack’s well-rounded education and understanding of the industry combined with more than three decades of experience then allowed him to found his own brand, YJACK. Since then Jack has continued to make good on a promise to always protect the value and integrity of his clothing by preserving its essence by only using the right tools and ingredients to elevate wardrobe staples to the extraordinary. yjackusa.com
