FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (August 16, 2019) – The 32nd Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Rendezvous founded by Rita & Rick Case at the Fisher Island Club on November 7 – 9, 2019 featuring the signature “Enchanted Weekend” with wizards, warriors and magicians Yacht Hop, and on Saturday, November 9th at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne, a formal Gala with a live performance by International Pop sensation, “Flo Rida”. The event weekend is Chaired by Christy & Larry Hierholzer who will also be inducted into the prestigious “Dream Makers Society”.

Last year’s event was a smashing success, and this year is again shaping up to be a truly memorable weekend for all who attend. “Rendezvous is the largest gathering of mega-yachts for charity in the world, all to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County,” said Brian Quail, President/CEO. “To date, the event has raised more than $30 million for our organization and the more than 12,300 at-risk youth it serves.”

“Flo Rida” is best known as a Grammy-nominated hit maker with over 100 million records sold and 29 tracks featured on Billboard’s Hot 100. Over the last several years, the Florida-born rapper has become a chart fixture thanks to blockbuster singles and chart-topping hits. He’s also broken down barriers by uniting millions of fans of pop, hip-hop, and club music around the world and establishing himself as an international, genre-busting superstar in the process. “Right Round” was the highest-selling one-week digital single ever at the time of its release, with more than 636,000 downloads sold its debut week. “Low” spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to become one of the most successful digital singles of the past decade. On Fisher Island, the weekend kicks off Thursday, November 7th with a VIP Welcome Reception, Mystical Yacht Hop Event & Dockside Cocktail Party where the lifestyle of the rich and famous is truly emulated. Guests dressed in chic yachting attire are treated to the ‘good life’ as yacht owners and captains do their best to outdo one another and truly impress their newly boarded guests, followed by special entertainment.

The excitement continues on Friday, November 8th, guests enjoy the Enchanted Mansion Feast Costume and Dance Party featuring Entertainment by DJ Laz. Saturday, November 9th features activities during the daytime with Boys & Girls Clubs members. The excitement continues at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne for a fantastic “Winter is Coming” themed White Gala, featuring a live performance by International Pop Sensation, “Flo Rida”. The night closes with a private meet and greet with Flo Rida for Boys & Girls Clubs Admirals, a generous group of individuals who contribute $50,000 annually to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

The gala will feature the induction of Christy & Larry Hierholzer into the Dream Makers Society. Dream Makers inductees are individuals who have established a long-term commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County for at least 10 years, have played a vital role in the development of a program or event that has had a significant impact on the success of the organization, and have personally contributed funds over $1 million. Dream Makers Society members include: Felix Sabates, Rita & Rick Case, Florence & Lawrence J.  De George, Marti & Wayne Huizenga, James E. McDonnell IV, Linda & Douglas Von Allmen, Mary Anne & Richard Kull, Christine Lynn, Cindy & Terry Taylor and Deborah & Gary Wendt.

The Fisher Island Marina, where the most luxurious mega-yachts dock, is capable of handling over 20 yachts, making it the perfect venue for the 32nd anniversary of the Rendezvous. Individual tickets are also available at $1,500 per person for the entire three days of events; guests do not need to register a yacht to attend.
