The 2023 North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) is Moving to Anaheim
NAHA and Premiere Anaheim Come Together to Create Beauty’s Most Buzzworthy Weekend!
The Professional Beauty Association (PBA), the largest and most inclusive national trade organization representing manufacturers, distributors, salon and spa business owners, and licensed beauty professionals, is excited to announce that NAHA 2023 will be held on April 2 at the Anaheim Convention Center along with the new Premiere Anaheim show.
The move to Anaheim is a result of PBA’s recent landmark joint venture with Informa Markets and BolognaFiere to create USA Beauty, the largest and most impressive series of beauty events in the US beauty market with unrivaled reach. “We are thrilled NAHA will now be part of Premiere Anaheim,” shares PBA Executive Director Nina Daily. “Combining NAHA with Premiere will allow beauty professionals to leverage the power of two industry leading events in one place.”
The entry deadline for NAHA 2023 has also been extended from September 14 to November 9, 2022, allowing the industry artists time to showcase their skills and creativity to enter the most prestigious professional beauty competition in North America.
Key dates for NAHA 2022 are as follows:
Extended Entry Deadline: November 9, 2022
Finalist Announcement: February 23, 2023
NAHA 2022 Award Ceremony: April 2, 2023—Anaheim, CA
Categories for the 34th Annual North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) are as follows:
- Avant Garde
- Barber of the Year
- Editorial Stylist of the Year
- Educator of the Year
- Hair Color
- Haircutting
- Hairstylist of the Year
- Inspiring Salon of the Year
- Makeup Artist of the Year
- Master Hairstylist of the Year
- Student Hairstylist of the Year
- Styling & Finishing
- Team of the Year
- Texture
NAHA 2023 is also bringing back the NAHA Remix, which allows artists to enter previously submitted collections that were not selected as finalists.
Entrants for all categories must be licensed cosmetologists or barbers, with the exceptions of Student Hairstylist of the Year, Makeup Artist of the Year, and Inspiring Salon of the Year.
